Hot rolled coils

BUY PIPE offers a wide range of products from hot-rolled coils. Hot rolled coils are produced using a rolling mill which involves rolling the steel at a high temperature (above the recrystallization temperature of the steel). As long as the temperature of the steel is above the recrystallization temperature, it can be easily shaped. In the case of hot rolled steel, the starting material is usually large pieces of metal such as slabs, blooms and billets.

pickled and oiled steel is also available in pickled and oiled finishes. By acid pickling and oil lubrication, mill scale can be removed from hot rolled steel, thus protecting it from rust. The cost of gripping and lubricating is somewhere in the middle between conventional hot rolling and cold rolling.
